The Web3 gaming ecosystem XPLA, in partnership with Com2uS Group, has officially launched its own layer 2 chain, XPLA Verse, on the Oasys blockchain. This launch marks the inclusion of several well-known games from Com2uS, such as “Summoners War: Chronicle” and “The Walking Dead: All-Stars,” into the blockchain gaming world.
XPLA Verse introduces notable games from the Com2uS Group, including “Summoners War: Chronicle” and “The Walking Dead: All-Stars.” These titles are derived from widely successful games and now offer fast transactions and no network fees for players on the new platform.
Back in February, Com2uS announced its plan to create its own ‘Verse’ on the platform. Leveraging Oasys’ infrastructure, XPLA Verse aims to provide players with diverse and compliant blockchain gaming experiences. The global presence and expertise of Com2uS, especially in mobile game development in South Korea, are expected to attract more players to XPLA Verse.
Com2uS has been accelerating its Web3 initiatives in the Japanese market since 2022 and has been actively participating in the Oasys ecosystem. Along with XPLA, Com2uS aims to utilize Oasys’ understanding of Japan’s regulatory environment to expand its market presence and engage more users from East Asia.
Dominic Jang, the Head of Business Development at Oasys, praised XPLA’s proactive entry into Japan’s Web3 market, as the country shifts towards “active promotion” of such technologies. XPLA’s focus on “Explore and Play” encompasses a wide range of digital content, including Web3 games, blockchain gaming platforms, NFT marketplaces, and metaverses.
