PROOF, the team behind the popular Moonbirds PFP collection, is now launching a new generative series called Mythics. This project offers an exceptional minting experience that takes their dedicated community on an explorative journey into the Moonbirds universe. The Mythics project was revealed in August 2022, coinciding with a $50 million Series A funding round led by venture capital heavyweight Andreessen Horowitz. This collection introduces 20,000 profile picture NFTs that are inspired by the lore of the Moonbirds.
To obtain a Moonbirds Mythic, Oddities holders have the option to burn their NFTs in exchange for a Mythic. On the other hand, Moonbirds holders need to nest their Moonbird to acquire a Mythic. Both burnt Oddities and nested Moonbirds offer equal chances of obtaining rare Mythics. Every day, 50 claimed eggs will be selected randomly for “activation” and 50 Oddities will be chosen for burning. Over a period of at least 200 days, a maximum of 100 Mythics will be released each day through this process.
