We are excited to announce the results of our recent brand refresh voting proposal. The community has spoken, and a clear winner has emerged!
Proposal Recap
In our ongoing effort to make the Verse Ecosystem more inviting, relatable, and inclusive, we proposed a brand refresh. The goal was to modernize our brand elements — trademark, colors, and imagery — to better communicate our values and appeal to both new and existing crypto users.
Voting Options
The community was presented with three options for the future direction of the Verse brand:
- Option 1: “Evolution” — A softer take on the current branding.
- Option 2: “Hearts and Hands” — A bolder, more inclusive branding.
- Option 3: Maintain Status Quo — Keep the current branding.
Voting Period
The voting period commenced on 15 July at 0:00 UTC and concluded on 22 July at 0:00 UTC.
Results
After a week of voting, the results are as follows:
- Option 1: “Soft edges”: 20M VERSE (5.42%)
- Option 2: “Hearts and Hands”: 334M VERSE (90.84%)
- Option 3: Maintain Status Quo: 14M VERSE (3.74%)
The overwhelming majority of the Verse community has voted for Option 2: “Hearts and Hands”.
What’s Next?
With the community’s strong support for the “Hearts and Hands” branding, we will proceed with the brand refresh. Here are the next steps:
- Finalizing Design Elements: We will finalize the design elements of the new branding, ensuring it accurately represents our community’s values and goals.
- Incremental Rollout: The new brand elements will be rolled out incrementally across our digital and physical touchpoints. This includes updates to our website, app, social media profiles, and other platforms.
- Community Engagement: We will continue to engage with our community to gather feedback and ensure the new branding resonates well with everyone.
